2021 Virtual Quilt Show - Sharing the Joy of Quilting

Welcome to Foothill Quilters Guild’s Virtual Show, the first of its kind in our 39 year history!  We are delighted you’re here, and hope you will enjoy seeing the many wonderful quilts our members have created in recent months.  Because of the Covid pandemic, we canceled our physical show for 2020 and created this new experience for 2021.

Foothill Quilters Guild has been a part of the Auburn Community since 1982.  The guild meets monthly (currently, by Zoom) to explore new learning, extend our skills, complete community service projects, and enjoy friendships.  Our meetings are held on the second Monday evening of each month.  For more information, please click on any of the gray menu links above.

In addition to monthly meetings, FQG offers sewing workshops taught by professional quilters as well as Discovery Day sewing experiences led by guild members.  This year, classes have been conducted online, providing members with opportunities to meet teachers from across the country as well as nearby. Online instruction has advantages we’d not anticipated, providing an additional venue for ongoing learning that may extend beyond this pandemic year.

Staying at home has provided more time for sewing for many of us, this year. Color, design, fabric and thread offer challenge and delight.  Our members create cozy comfort and amazing art in quilts of every style.  We hope you enjoy your virtual adventure with us this Spring, and that you’ll return for our live show in April 2022!
