A mini-group is a small group of quilters (usually 6-12) who get together outside
of Guild meeting times to sew together, go to shows, go shopping, have meals and
talk about quilting and projects, and/or participate in any other activity of their
choosing. Some groups gather in members’ homes and so are limited in size; some
form because of a mutual interest in a particular type of technique (such as applique
or redwork). Some have members who are not members of the Guild. Some are new and
some have been together for years. There are no rules!
Are you new to the Guild? Would you like to meet other people who share your love
of quilting? Consider starting or joining a mini-group.
Diane Zandstra, our Mini-group coordinator, will help you get connected. Give her
the date and time you would like to meet and she'll publish the information in our
newsletter looking for a match. You can email Diane or speak with her at a general
meeting.
