Join us October 13, 2008 for Cathie Hoover's Retrospective Trunk Show — A truly moo-ving experience. Utilizing Holstein cows in my designs was a natural for me even before moving to Moo-desto. The graphic black and white patterns on these cows and their gentle nature appeal to me.
During this presentation that includes 21+ years of original work, quilts are shown, and garments are modeled by volunteers. Each article is described in detail using a humorous, and relaxed commentary. Any questions you might have about techniques, materials used, and trade secrets will be answered!
Best of Patchwork sampler Workshop
October 14, 2008, 10 pm - 4 pm
Please join Cathie’s workshop and learn a few of the techniques she has used in her award-winning quilts and garments. Each student will receive directions for each of the techniques covered. Students will also learn from viewing each other’s finished samples, from the varied fabric selections, and from Cathie’s discussion of the samples created by the class. This class is fast paced and fun, but suitable for the beginner and the advanced quilter. Additional techniques are provided for those who wish to continue on at home. Supply list.
